Well... you learn something new every day... this is today's lesson. I didn't know there were luminous fungi, but now that I do I'll have to keep an eye out for them. We have an enormous variety of mushrooms and other fungi that grow at our place, so I'll have to check 'em out for any likely suspects.

That's wonderful!
Did you use any UV light or anything?
can you provide details of the settings?

That is so cool! Love #3. Usually if mushrooms start looking like that it's because one's smoked too many.

Great pics,
I have often noticed luminescence coming from a wet observing lawn, The black slime spots that seem to produce it are nothing like your beautiful pics though.
Outstanding.

No uv natural colouration first two at 25000 iso for around 45 seconds..... last at 6400 iso 4min at f16 they are pretty dim once your eyes are fully dark adapted they stand out really well i can spot them from over a hundred meters or so

Brad, are these Omphalotus nidiformis - Ghost Mushroom?

Do they looked like this in the light?
They are an amazing fungi and beautiful in daylight too. I often see them in the pine forest where they grow on dead wood.
