Skywatcher synscan EQ6 cable diagram

Skywatcher synscan EQ6 cable diagram http://www.astronomyshed.co.uk/forum...ost_target.gifby Andre27 » Fri Sep 13, 2013 9:28 am
Good Day To All

I need to make up a new handset cable for my EQ6 Skywatcher mount .
The made up cable is not available in South Africa , I would like to use cat5 cable for this purpose , can anyone direct me to the schematics for the configuration of the RJ45 and DB9serial plugs ?

Thank you for your time.

That should work buy an RJ45 to Db9 adapter costs $3 to $6 in Australia not sure how much in your country, make sure you check with a multimeter and verify against your existing one before using. Once you've finished you can use a standard cat 5 flylead.
