Great image scale for this object. The original would be a treat but I think it ha suffered in the process of getting it down to the IIS 200K limit - either that or something else has introduced some serious artifacts. Either that or somewhere in the processing but it strikes my eye as being blocky - like the crop attached shows.

Nice shot. Shame about the compression artefacts in the posted pic.
PS: the high res is simply stunning. The best I've seen to date.

Stunning image. Your stars are small and sharp. Tell us more about the HDR multiscale transform. I'd like to try it on some of my Ha images.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments.

I'd love to tell you all about the HDR Multiscale transform but I don't know anything about it myself. Its the first time I've used it lol. It's a module in pixinsight. I just opened it hit "apply". I didn't like the results the first time so played around with the amount of layers until I got what I what I wanted. I left everything else as default.
Mike
I used my orion 102 refactor. Thanks for the comment.

Beautiful image. You need to reduce the dimensions and then when save for web, make sure you keep it under 200kb otherwise the forum software will compress it some more.

When I saw the high-res image my first reaction was "How is this is from an *Earth-based* telescope?"
Truly stunning. Deeply impressed.

That is some of the best nebula cloud I have seen, I find the cloudy areas often look slightly out of focus but everything in this images looks crisp. Well done!
