Helix repro

Helix repro
Dumped the ~7 hours of crummy SII data from this one and did a reprocess with R:G:B = Ha:Ha:OIII. Much happier with this one.

Ha – 10x5min + 7x10min
OIII – 10x5min + 8x10min
Atik 314L+, SW 120/f5, EQ6

It’s a nice Helix, Hugh, although the colour palette that you’ve chosen is a novelty, but this is all a matter of personal taste anyway...
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ian, yeah that purple centre is meant to be blue, at least it is on my lappy where I processed it. But as you say, especially with NB images, it's all up to personal taste anyway.

Nice detail Hugh. I also find that R:G:B->Ha:OIII:OIII works well in giving "natural" colours. SII is often pretty weak for many targets. Not surprised you dumped it.
