Sydneysiders, kiss the night sky bye bye

Thanks to this... 24 May - 11 June.

The lasers are installed and have been tested - they're easily seen as far as WoyWoy and Blue Mountains.

The Environmental Protection Act needs amending to cut unnecessary light pollution, so far as is reasonably practicable - which has a legal meaning.

Sydney is already Bortle 7-8. Half this period is during a bright moon. You can't say good bye to a sky that's already gone.

My Seestar can still image galaxies and nebula's fine with bortle 7-8 and a full moon, so whatever.

I'm looking forward to the festival actually. Do some photography and have fun. The festival happens every year anyway.

If you can't hack it then maybe city life isn't for you.

This equals woke rot now?
