Submit to ASA Photo Gallery

Hi all,

I'm currently overlooking the development of a new photo gallery to be launched by the Australian Space Alliance (ASA) over the coming weeks.

We're seeking photographers who might be interested in having their work published and would love to have IceInSpace members on board.

If you have any photos that you would like posted on our website/facebook/twitter, your name and a link to your home page can be included in the caption. It's in our interest to advertise you as a photographer and to make sure that local Astrophotography gets the recognition it deserves.

We understand that many of you sell your images and will therefore keep all publications under 1000px wide (to avoid hi-res copies leaking).

If you have any questions or would like to submit your photographs via email, please contact peter@spacealliance.com.au

That it is, Fred. I'm not overly surprised you brought it up, after all, we're essentially asking for it. Time to get a new marketing team...

Yes I thought the same thing when I saw the title of the thread. I assumed ASA telescopes.

Good to see you have started a publication. Sounds good. The standard of Aussie astrophotography
has sky rocketed in the last 2 years.

Greg.

Hi all. Thanks to all those so far who have contributed to the gallery. We've had a really great response and expect the gallery to be full of fantastic content.

Cheers,

Peter, I have searched all over your SpaceAlliance website and I cannot find the gallery.
Where are the submitted photos displayed?

Hi Ken,

The gallery is in development and will be launched over the coming weeks. We're currently asking astrophotographers for images so that we have content available when the gallery is ready to go online. In the meantime we will be posting some of the images to our Facebook page (http://facebook.spacealliance.com.au/).

Thanks,
Peter Crane

Ahhh, ok, thanks Peter.

Good luck with it.
I'll see if I have anything worth submitting.

I can't stand Facebook so I'll wait until they are on the website to look at
