Guide camera has arrived

I picked up my Orion Starshoot Autoguider (aka Q Guider) today from Bintel. First problem came while riding home on the train reading the instructions. In spite of the info on various web sites that it runs on Windows 2000, XP and Vista, the manual says only XP and Vista. Anyway I got home and installed it on my 2000 platform. You need to load Orion's version of PHD, which only seems to allow Orion cameras, but otherwise is identical to PHD v 1.7.0. After installing the drivers, I got the ominous message "Drivers installed but may not work" Anyway the camera connected fine and takes terrestial pics, but whether actual guiding will work remains to be seen tonight if the clouds stay away.
