Buying a new telescope, so this has to go - its a late 90's early 2000's Celestron C8. Has Farstar, so can be converted to an F2 Hyperstar.
The condition of the scope is very good - some minor paint grazes on the tube, but no dints. Optics are in excellent condition - a few bits of dust on the primary as is to be expected from its age. The corrector has no physical damage and the coatings look fine to me.
Other details to be aware of:- The scope came with 'Bobs Knobs' fitted, and I don't have the original screws for the secondary - never been a problem as it hold collimation very well.
- There are two screws missing from the sides and one from the top. Wouldnt be hard to get replacement ones I guess, but its never bothered me.
