I already have the TOA-35R reducer/flattener for my Tak FS-102 (works perfectly), and was wondering, to same some money to use the same reducer/flattener in my Astro-Physics 12Ed refractor - see any issues?
Focal ratio of the Tak is f/8, the AP is 8.5. Focal lengths are close.
All I would need to do is have my mate turn up an AP to Tak adapter, then space it with the adapter I already have for the FS.
Or is this all bad physics and mathematics? Or just try the damned thing
I know the AP telecompressor is cheap enough (cheaper than the Tak), as are their parts, but I am still trying to be frugal
