DMK for Ha imaging

I wanted to ask what the DMK's are like with Ha imaging using the PST? I currently use the QHY5L-II Monochrome camera and wanted to see how it stacks up against this.

Would love to get my hands on one if possible!

A DMK41 should work very well with a PST assuming you can reach focus with it.

The DMK41 has been a staple over the years in Ha imaging and with a PST you can get a full disc on the chip which is pleasant.
It's certainly a good camera and you will need a shorter nose piece for focus but it works a treat.

I have used my DMK41 with my SMII60 for a couple of years and it works fine. If you are still casting about for a camera by Nov, and you are at Snake Valley again you are welcome to borrow it for a test in your PST.

pst and dmk

Hi

I use a dmk21 with the pst (double stacked too).

I had to cut down the nose piece and also use a barlow to get focus.

It is a great little camera but the software could be better. Try sharpcap software.

cheers
Karen
