Not sure how much better it would be over a modded 6D though.

No mirror slap for one, and less payload weight for the mount.

I think the R already has a lot less noise than the 6D so the Ra should be quite a bit better than a modified 6D.
The current Nikon D750 is also a lot better than the 6D.
