Many thanks to Chris and Mike for putting in so much time and effort on this project. My copy arrived today and the efforts of all the contributors in the book should make you justifiably proud of your efforts and achievements. Congratulations one and all on such a professional work of art.

Okay, I have no self control and didn't wrap my copy for myself for Christmas - rippped (carefully) open as soon as it was retreived from my post box.

Thankyou Chris, Mike, the printers and all the contributors - what a beautifully put together book. Congratulations to all.

Jeanette just keep breathing in and out (and in and out) until yours arrives. It's breathtaking, so you will need all that extra respiration in preparation!

Wished you'd ordered one?
Want to see what all the fuss is about?
Want to order more?

I got extras printed, so you can still order a 2009 Compendium.

My copy arrived today.

Wow that turned out beautifully, excellent work Chris, Mike, the printers and contributers.
Everyone deserves a big pat on the back.

The images certainly look terrific in print and I'm already looking forward to next year's edition.

Can't wait to share this with family and friends.

Congratulation to all involved !!

Just got my two copies today in good order. It looks great. I'll have to have a good browse at it after work but it's really well done and so colorful. I like the attention to details such as the purple font on Jen's page . So many wonderful shots across the board. So colorful. While quickly flicking through one that particularly drew my attention was the Total Eclipse shot over the great wall of China by Terry Cuttle. That's a great frame with a wow factor

I want mine

Living in hicksville out past the black stump just past the boonies under dark skies does have its disadvantages at times. I'm sure the mail courier stocks up on a weeks supply of mail before he decides to drive out my way.

I hope its there when I get home.

Wow! That's quite a few who received them today. Fantastic! Thanks for all the positive comments.

I'm really sorry to hear about the odd one or two which were delivered by postmen who just plain don't care. I guess that they are under contract to deliver mail, whatever it is, into whatever receptacle is provided at the front of your driveway. Does anyone know if they are under instruction to make judgement calls and refuse to damage whatever they're delivering and leave a note asking you to collect from the PO?

Finally go to look at mine. Fantastic! To grace the same pages as the well-seasoned astroimagers is truly an honor. My favourite page has to be PeterL's - those comet images are great.

Thanks again to Chris, Mike and all involved. A mammoth effort which has been well rewarded.

There must be some judgement call. Astronomy 2010 arrived yesterday and was stuffed in the letterbox. It has nearly flattened out now.

The compendium was on the front door mat and completely flat.
