Some medium resolution Lunar images

These were taken from our back garden, back in August, when we had clearer skies in Brisbane.

Tak Mewlon 210 F11.5 with x0.8 Reducer/Flattener, giving 2080mm at F9.9 with ASI1600MM camera.

Images are from 3000 Frame SER files, captured with Firecapture and processed with Autostakkert3!, Registax 6 (Wavelets) with finishing in PS CC.

I had to be a bit aggressive and heavy-handed with the JPG compression to keep the file sizes below 200K.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks David and Marc, I appreciate your comments.

I wouldn't mention this in front of a group of rabid DSO imagers, but I do love imaging and observing our lovely Moon.

Cheers

i don't mind a luny tune, especially when your playing.

Just simply wonderful detailed, sharp as images, not just these but also your Deep Sky. There is someone we both knew who would be very proud of your skills!
