We've got 91 people coming so far (76 adults, 15 children). That's a good number, but it'd be great if those that still haven't booked can get your bookings in soon.

I need to finalise the size of the marquee and the numbers for catering and t-shirts by mid-next-week, so I'd prefer to have more accurate numbers.

Also remember that I need to receive your payment by the 14th October to receive the early-bird-discount ($10 off the total price) - that's only 4 days away!

People coming so far:

- Mike Salway (iceman)
- peter m moriz (mozzie)
- Vincent Miu (Cookie8)

Unfortunately I won't be running the IISis4 birthday quiz competition this year.

The good news for those coming to IISAC2008, is that the prize pool for the lucky door prize has now increased.

Check out the IISAC page for details of the lucky door prize raffle.

Andrew Murrell put those Calsky lists together for Mike. Or at least he was doing that when I went on holidays 2 weeks ago

Andrew is giving a talk on the observing targets at IISAC. It will be based on appropriate targets for various aperture group telescopes. eg. under 8" aperture, 8" to 16" aperture and over 16" aperture.

Cheers
John B

Yay, I have made it onto the official list!

Yes I will be there, though I doubt any of you know who I am... so this year (unlike the last two) I will do my utmost to make it into the group photo....

Thanks again Mike for all the organisation.

Oh and scope wise I will drag along my 12" LightBridge.

That is bad news, but at the same time good for people going to IISAC 08.

Will have to wait for next year for the birthday quiz.

You can put me down for two. My GF and I will be attending on Fri/Sat. I think we have some family coming up on the Saturday but they wont be staying.

I'll make the payments on tuesday or wednesday. I lost my wallet and I'm waiting for the Visa to come through.

Looking forward to it, this should be a hoot.

Sandy
