Really looking forward to this - it will be my first star party where I won't have a walking stick! Great to have a pair of stainless/plastic knees.

Interestingly, they move sooooo smoothly - could be scope (bad pun) for dob users to investigate the materials to smooth the motion???

And the knees are not magnetic. I had thoughts of hanging stuff from them, didn't work, so there goes a party trick.............

The end of the jetty will be fine. I enjoy the seclusion. BTW are there fish in the lake?

Nobody knows if there are any fish in there so you are welcome to try and get the monster of SV out of the lake
