How to correct terrestrial CA in Photoshop?

Hi All, I'm struggling to deal with Chromatic Abberation in some of my terrestrial shots. I'm shooting in RAW and use the Lens Correction option to shift the red<>cyan and yellow<>blue fringe around. This works sometimes, but often when I have a lot of high contrast edges on different planes (e.g. flower beds), I can't seem to correct in all the directions I need to.

I'd really appreciate any tips or advice? Any plug-ins etc or freeware that helps with this?

thanks,

Rob

You might want to have a look at PTLens. Can I ask what camera/lens setup you're using?

Hi there, I take it PTlens is a software program... is it free or shareware?

I'm using a Canon 40D and a range of lenses. CA most noticeable on a 11-16mm wideangle lens.

cheers,

rob

Hi Rob,
Yes, PTLens is software and it costs. I think its a front end for the Pano tools plugins. The PTLens gives you 10 uses for free as a trial. There are a range of cameras and lenses that it does correction for (but that might be just for geometry - haven't really looked into it). There is a list at the developer's website
