Current consumption for DSI-C II

Does anyone know how much current a colour DSI II takes? I bought a powered USB hub, but I want to be able to run if off the scope battery. I have an extra 12V socket, but to regulate that down to 5 volts I would need to drop 7 volts, or if I plug it into a 9 volt I just drop 4 (but it is only 1A maximum). I just want to work out what sort of a heatsink I will need for the regulator, I think a TO-220 case will be too small if it is more than an amp, so I will probably go the T03 and put some fins on it. I can't find this spec on the box or in the instruction manual (I would have expected it at the back under specifications).
