Red planet from Italy 21 March 2014

hello everyone,
my first shots of the red planet of the 2014 season, two moments of better seeing, with the planet at 34° altitude.
Interesting cloud formation above Elysium Mons and mist crossing until Syrtis Maior. Nice the thick cloud around the northern polar region.
Dall-Kirkham telescope 14" f/20 - PG Blackfly camera -
3000 frames stacked each channel - Autostakkert2 , Astraimage and WJ for processing .

cheers Andrea

I could never do that at 34 degree altitude from Melbourne...Incredible results and excellent processing!

Fantastic set Andrea.
The lack of any diffraction effects at the edge is most impressive (apart from the shear ability to pull such an image with Mars so low from the horizon!).
What is the obstruction in your D-K scope?

That's impressive level of detail especially around Elysium for the lower altitude Andrea.

Thanks all guys .

The obstruction is 23% including all the mechanical support.
