The Toby Jug Nebula

I got the Toby Jug Nebula IC2220 last night.
6x10 mins ISO200
10 inch f5.6 newtonian, modded 350D, uv/ir filter, Baader MPCC coma corrector. Hand guided with Q guider cam.
Theres a few background galaxies there as well. Just after finishing the run it clouded over, was very fortunate to get the hour long run completed.

Hey Eric.......what focusing software do you use? Your stars are always so pin-sharp.

Thanks all
Heres a full res. crop. I think its one of my best focused best tracked DSO images of late. I took a number if short 10 sec test images at ISO 1600, large jpeg, and zoomed in to maximum, checking star sizes then moving focuser slightly and trying again, I stopped when I got the smallest possible sizes. Seeing was good too, though every now and than the guide star would appear to swim in waves for a few moments. The guide star was so magnified it was over an inch long on laptop screen, allowing for fine corrections. I used the off axis guider and 2.8x barlow

I use Chris Venters DSLR Focus to focus my stars. However, the software only supports canon 300d, 350d and 20d and doesn't look like it will be updated to support the 400d, 30d, 40d's etc .

Sorry scott for hijacking your post.

yes, a closer view shows how accurate the focus is, the spikes are sharp without any flarring. colours are nicely balanced too.

Either a gamma ray burst (just kidding !)

or Cosmic ray strike. Don't worry, they happen all the time. They'll be back at work tomorrow night.

Seriously...Cosmic ray.

Actually I think I may have found the cause, the scope may have been bumped just as I shut down the exposure as I fiound some very faint similar images under some other stars, but as the yellow star here is the brightest and showed it the most
Actually I think I did see a cosmic ray hit the q guider as I saw a line shoot diagonally across the screen while I guided
