Eta Carina by moonlight.ED80 unguided. Converted to TIFF, calibrated, aligned and stacked in ImagesPlus, curves, levels, cropped and reduced for posting in photoshop.

That is an excellent image Paul. Nicely composed, sharply focused and very well processed. I was bowled over by the amount of red visible, given that you have the unmodified Canon - wow!

That G11 is certainly paying dividends.
That is an excellent shot under the moonlight. Plenty of depth and colour too. Very well captured and processed.
Who needs a modfied camera?
