Duckadang revisited- M7, NGC253 and M31

While cleaning up a few files today I came across a couple of image I hadn't finished. These were from that fantastic week at Duckadang.

M7 from two different nights and with slightly different processing. Not sure which one I prefer
M31 for the night of h0ughy's triumphant M31
NGC253 from the weeeee morning hours (keeping h0ughy company til just before sunrise I think)

All taken with the ED80 but no FR. Canon 300D unmodded. Various times and ISOs. All processing done on a laptop

Missed one- M27

M27 again through the ED80. (bit of strange red flaring on some of the stars that are not present on the original )

Thanks Andrew and h0ughy.

I'm not sure which M7 I prefer. The first has better contrast with the dark lanes, but the second highlights the dense star field behind M7

I had a bit of a play with one of the M7s seeing as it wasn't bordered and threw in a bit of artistic license

M7

M7 is excellent.

M7 doesn't gets imaged much but in a slightly wider FOV like this it makes for a very interesting image!

I like both versions too

Mike

M31

Hi Paul,
A nice lot of photos, and I like the fine detail you got in M31, I suppose the nice dark sky helps a bit, thanks for posting them, and if you get any more of M31 id love to see em.

cheers................Jim
