Is a 2" GSO SV a worthwhile acquisition?

Hi all.
I have an 8" GSO Dobbie with the supplied 6,9,15 & 25mm 1.25" Super Plossl's. I'm sorely tempted to get a 2" Superview for Christmas, probably the 30mm. Or would the 42 or 50mm versions be more useful?
Is this a smart move or would the money ,$60 inc P&P, be better spent elsewhere?
Any comments?
Thanks

Very worthwhile, they are excellent value for the money. I have the 30, 20, and 15 mm Superviews. The 30mm is a great general deep sky hunter EP, returning 60x on my 16" dob but with a good Field of view and coma free. They are all crystal clear qnd I can't fault them. They compare very favourably to Explore Scientific EPs and in my opinion are better than the Baader Hyperions which I also have. If your going to buy one the 30mm would be a good choice,.

I agree with Glen. They are value for money. I have the 42 mm and works a treat. It gives the Milky Way a big "WOW" factor, especially when viewing Carina! Go for it!
Cheers!

I have the 30 and 15mm SV and for the money they are not bad.
Use them in my little f4 8" and they both give nice wide easy fields, eye relief is OK. Coma is obvious but it is an f4!

I haven't noticed any noticeable aberrations or colour casts.

I have the 42mm too.
Optically, they are usable, considering the price.
On my f10 SCT, it gives x45 and 1.5 deg fov, so it is good for dso.
The only negative, is , it fogs easily in cold nights unless you use a heater. The moisture tends to get in and it takes some time to dry out.
