NGC 6337 AND NGC 6302 (bug nebula)

I always like to look at NGC 6337 through big scopes under a dark sky. It is one of my favourite planetary nebulas. This is my first go at photographing it.

Nearby is NGC 6302 (the bug nebula). Also, a first for me.

Both taken from my home in suburban Carlingford with my 12 inch Dob.

Damn fine images of targets not on the popular lists, good to see something different. Lovely little ring of an planetary nebula, will have to chase it with the 12.5" dob when I can get to some darker skies.
Thanks for sharing Richard.
