My M51 pic taken w/ ST-2000XCM CCD 4-19-14

Here's my M51 (Whirlpool Galaxy) pic

taken were 5 lights (240 sec each, 1X1 binning : 80mm APO f7 scope)

and 4 darks of 480 sec at same

and 8 bias

and 10 flats

guiding was being used in CCDSoft

and the wedge align was better, but not perfect

great start, nice round stars, but to get the galaxy better you will need to invest some time on the target - like maybe on the plus side of 15
