Whilst the 80mm rig was running I plonked the widefield rig down behind it achieving polar alignment by lining the widefield mount up with where the heq5 was pointing.
I was rushing so I did no more for polar align...it was a little off looking at the subs but the main problem was the primary drive was rubbing internally and it was that that was causing problems..I sortta fixed it a little but not enough..look at the trails in the little photo herewith... only saved 25 minutes of subs due to clouds and assorted problems..I was going to scrap the lot but decided to see if I could save something..so Startools came to the rescue and fixed the stars such that I managed an image after all.
I used a new 50 mm lens at f4 which has problems but really I need more time to iron everything out before I bag it tooo much.
