I wonder if a high heat aerosol would do the job? You're looking for a hard wearing coat right but thin enough not to interfere with threads clearance?

Thanks Marc.
The paint doesn't actualy go on the threading part of the adapter, so clearance isnt important. but hard wearing and A thin coat is ideal
Joshua helped to customise a autofocus solution for my Pentax 125SDP. For folks who are familiar with the Pentax 125SDP, it has a huge helical focuser with a rubberised grip that can handle a decent camera payload.
I opted for a ZWO EAF as the rest of my camera/filterwheel kit is also ZWO. Joshua designed and custom made a large sprocket on the OTA side with an ingenious tensioning ring system that doesn't scratch the OTA's helical focuser, a mounting bracket for the EAF, 3D printed sprocket for the motor shaft, and a belt with matching pitch to the motor and OTA sprocket.
Per attachment, my AF was spot-on right out of the box.
Thanks Joshua for the work! Very happy with this custom solution!
Just a Quick post to let you know I'm still doing these, and to add some photos of what I've done over the past few months since my last post.
I do tilt adapters, counterweights, variable spacers, dovetail, threaded and bolt up adapters, and if you're after something else, just ask
Thankyou to all my customers, it's been a pleasure!
Just to let you guys know that Joshua also can make an excellent set of tube rings/clamps. He made me these not long ago for my Parks 8" and I'm extremely happy with them. Aluminium, black anodised, felt lined. Excellent fit. Great work from Joshua.
