An excellent eyepiece for the more budget conscious among us !
The TS 40mm ED eyepiece has previously been sold under the Paragon and TMB names. It is 40mm focal length with a 69º AFoV. I recently tested it alongside a Panoptic 41 (thanks MattT) and whilst there was a slight difference in the outer field, its performance on axis matched the Panoptic and actually showed some very faint stars with direct vision that were blinking in & out of vision in the Panoptic.
This has been my outreach eyepiece in the bigger scopes as it is very forgiving of eye placement and with the adjustable eyecup can be used with or without glasses.
