Comet ISON 2nd November Brisbane

19x1min exposures on a Canon EOS 600D, 200mm f/4, 100% crop.
Can start to see the differentiation in colour from the green gas coma and white dust tail
Not visible in my 9x63 binoculars.

Thanks for looking,

Tom

That's a nice shot Tom.

I predict that ISON will gain about 1 more magnitude before perihelion as it loses elongation from the Sun. A bit disappointing for us in the southern hemisphere.

Tom I looked at ISON with a 16" Dob while you were imaging it this morning.
The tail was about 20' long, it went past the mag 7 star in your image.
