10" newt for Dob

i have an imaging newt (GSO 10") with creyford focusser that is sitting around doing nothing because my mount is otherwise preoccupied. i would love to trade it for a dobsonian 10 - 12" for visual use.

let me know if you are interested in taking a step up to astrophotography and want to trade

I have a Skywatcher 10" dob

Hello,

I have a 10"dob to exchange if you wish. It needs collimation and the box has seen better days but its in reasonable condition. I will have it down in Sydney/Wollongong after easter. Please PM me if this suits.

Cheers,

Wushu.

Did you look into simply converting the newt to a dob by building a dob base? That way it is still available later if you want to use it as a newt again. Have a look at Dobstuff.com for ideas abd parts. Email Dennis Steele at Dob stuff, he has probably done it before.

Dob Base

Mental4Astro builds Dob bases to order if you haven't time to do it yourself it may be worth contacting him. He makes really nice stuff.
He has a website here...
