Jupiter 12th April

Hi Guys
I had some good seeing early and took these before bed time on Wednesday night (beats getting up at 1am !)

C11 & powermate 2.5 with ZWO ASI 120MC. Best 2000 processed in Auto Stakkert, wavelets in Registax and PS curves & unsharpen mask

You can just see the GRS coming into view in the east. Its the best seeing i've had for a while.

I'm still working out the"Art" so your feedback comments are welcome

Hi Domenic,

I was out imaging too and can confirm that the seeing was reasonably good but a bit variable - making it hard to do RGB imaging.
Anyway, you are on the right track and all I can suggest is that you leave the curves adjustment alone because it tends to darken the limb if you try to get more contrast with it. You can increase the contrast using wavelets in a less damaging way - just study the effect of various sliders.

Hi Stefan
Thanks for the comment. Yes now that you mention it the edges are very dark. Here's the same photo without any curves. Thanks
