wispy cloud but a bright moon...ok to view?

I'm a super noob who has always had an interest in space. I look outside and there's some thin cloud about but the moon is full and bright. Should I go to all the trouble of lifting my 10" dobsonian out into the backyard and taking a peek? It's a warm night and there's a lot of thin cloud about...really only one or two stars as well...should I venture out? I have a moon filter too...thanks to Bintel
I'm in Aspendale.

We've had some really clear nights here the last few weeks. I really only get time to get out Friday & Saturday nights. Anyhow, last Saturday the moon was really bright so I put my moon filter on and viewed for about 10 minutes. It was quite good, but still a bit bright. I had to give my eyes quite a bit of time to readjust to the dark.

If it doesn't look like rain I'd go out. By the time your scope & eyes acclimatise the cloud may be gone. Have fun with it.

This is the worst ( from astro point of view) weather that I can remember for years. Great for the dams though. Any time is a good time to get out clouds or not, just not too much cloud.
