Howdy : )
Sorry I meant STACKING .
I was in the backyard last night and was trying out live stacking with ASIair plus .
With each shot there was quite a noticeable difference in quality and information .
After around 17 stacked shots the target was actually looking quite nice .
This got me to thinking .
The previous night I took 180 x 2 minute shots of the tarantula nebula with darks flats and bias . Only 63 frames made the cut . (Gremlins)
I wasn't very impressed with the result and as a test I used ONLY 2 light frames and stacked those to see the difference .
As you can see there is only a very slight difference .
Compared to live stacking result (I don't have a screenshot) why isn't my 63 frames making more of a difference than 2 single stacked shots ?
Any thoughts would be appreciated : )
