scope alignment

Hi all
I received my national geo scope 90mak goto yesterday and I have a question regards to setting up. In the instructions it says to set it to north but being in the southern hemisphere shouldn't I align it to the south?
just wanting a bit of clarification to those that know better.
Cheers
Pete

Hi Pete
You are correct - align it to true south.

Also there is probably a setting in the program to tell it you are in the southern hemisphere, otherwise it will still think it is in the northern hemisphere and will track in the wrong direction.
