Hi all,
I have been in the process of slowing putting together a scope to do some AP and also look about the deep dark sky! I am keen to get most of it second hand so thought I would drop this post and see if anyone has spare bits kicking around they are keen to offload cheaply. I have been reading up for a few months and I think this setup should work OK.
I am keen on a RC or SCT for aesthetic reasons (I like them) so pls don't start saying "oh buy a Newtonian" ...
I am located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney but I am happy to drive anywhere from Newcastle to Batemans Bay or Canberra or Bathurst sort of areas for the scope. Smaller bits are obviously easier to post.
I don't have a diamond tree out the back so pls be reasonable on price expectations!

Parts I am still looking to buy are:
- A 8" RC scope. GSO RCA-200 f/8 Ritchey-Chrétien Astrograph. The rebadged Astro-Tech that Bintel sell is what I'm thinking of. Interested in either the carbon or steel versions.

- OR 8" to 9.25" SCT OTA
- Carry case for 8" RC scope or bag with loads of padding etc
- Also looking for mounting for a Canon DSLR camera.
- Also looking for a 2" star diagonal to fit the OTA scope
- Also interested in a ZWO ASI 120MC-S Colour Camera or ZWO ASI 120MC Colour Camera for use as tracking scope camera (and maybe some budget planet shots). Or similar colour camera with ST4.
- Also interested in CCDT67 reducer.
- Also interested in moonlite focuser to fit the 8" RC / SCT. (CS 2 inch Format SCT/RC Focuser etc) or similar focuser
- Collimator ring for 8" RC (GSO RC Focuser Collimation Ring (RC8)?)
