I have just finished a solar activity video from images taken at 1 minute intervals, over a period of 50 minutes. A number of "small" solar flares were captured as seen in the attached images. These flares were smaller than the one which occurred the following morning, as already published on this site. The sunspot to the right in these images is AR2565.

Thanks for your interest John, Another couple of decent flares yesterday recorded by the GOES satellites. Clouds here prevented me doing any imaging in the morning. Such is life in Melbourne
