Introduction

Gday Everyone! I thought i should introduce myself to the forum considering how much time im currently spending on here! I was lucky enough to recieve my grandfathers Celestron C8 telescope which he could no longer use and since then I've been hooked! I'm finding all the information on here incredibly useful and cannot wait to learn more about Astronomy!

Hi Alasdair,

Wow what a great start! A C8 straight off the bat, a great all round scope.

You'll have loads of fun.

Enjoy,

Justin.

There you go Brian, still working on polar alignment and getting the tracking perfect but I am enjoying searching for everything out there! Any suggestions of some good places outside of Brisbane for a good viewing?

I particularly welcome you for having the same name spelt the same way as my son. So many people won't believe it's a perfectly normal way to spell it.

I have gone my whole entire life with my name being spelt wrong on forms and being asked "is that really how you spell your name"
