Vela SNR last night

A clear night and a late moon rise allowed me to grab the Vela Supernova Remnant last night.
8 inch f4 Bintel Newtonian. Baader MPCC and UHCS filter. Eos Ra. Hand guided with off axis guider. Processed with Siril and Photoshop.
Full size on Astrobin

Excellent amount of detail revealed for a short integration and only a UHC filter!

Thanks. I like imaging at F4. A full stop quicker than my 10 inch f5.6 and easier to carry, set up and less wind affected.

Scott, you're the only person I know who is still hand guiding. Every time I read that you are still doing this, it takes me back to the mid 80's hand guiding with film cameras and using a guide scope with a reticle. Great result for such a huge effort.
