Jupiter reduced....

Jupiter captured, accidentally, with my f6.3 reducer inside my focuser on my C9,25.......on march 3. Some minutes of nice seeing. I use a dbk 21 color cam..

I used a 2,5x powermate in two of the images and a 3x barlow (televue) in the third.

Naturally, the image scales are rather puny.... But still the results are decent, hopefully

Thank you Forecast says some clear weather this week. I will try again, this time without the reducer.......

I am still struggling with obtaining the same details and the "finish" in the images that other members on this forum produce. So many nice images on this forum to use as guidance and inspiration....

I will try to get my hands on a 4x power mate in the hope of using it in excellent seeing (which is not too often). It seems to me that image scale is of great importance for bringing out the small details......

Ornulf this is an excellent effort! Coincidentally, you seem to have taken this at very nearly the EXACT same time I did! Will start a new thread shortly.
