So the transit of the ISS did in fact occur from my position at Forest Lake south of Brissy.
It was a great sight to see this very bright object moving towards the moon at speed, I wasn't sure it would actually cross from my position but it did cross the lower 3rd in a blink of an eye.
I managed a few images taken through a Nikon 300mm F2.8 lens with 2x converter. I was a bit disappointed in the results though as the station was a bright white dot in all shots.
I suppose next time I'll have to use my 6" reflector and mount my Nikon to that....oh well.
