The SkyWatcher Evostar ED80 for sale - objective is a APO doublet-style with FP53 glass as the extra dispersion element I think. Comes with focal ratio
f/7.5 and focal length of 600mm. Purchased new about 2 years ago. I am the original owner. The scope has only ever been used for visual.
The 2-inch star diagonal surface has a very tiny chip, probably at manufacture, as it has never been dropped. Photo shows this mark. No effect on visual, and not relevant when using the scope for astrophotography.
Comes with its original aluminium carry case, an 8x50mm finder scope and a 2 inch star diagonal. A Skywatcher 28mm 2 inch eyepiece included as photographed. Asking $495. Item located in Brisbane northern suburbs. Looking for a local sale initially as I have no idea as to shipping costs nor shipping method. If local interest is low, I may have to ship eventually.
