Spin that wheel!
Folks,
M83 needs no introduction, it's a beautiful subject and there have been many fine examples posted in this forum recently and in previous years.
This shot was my first proper (=long) project with the ZWO ASI178MM, with its tiny 2.4 micron pixels, hanging off the back of my SW Esprit 100. The 178 yields a little more resolution but also needs a little more exposure time to calm the noise than my usual weapon of choice (ASI1600), so this is over 10 hours of total exposure time. I'm sure I could have gotten away with less. Pixel peeping is a tough habit to crack...
Constructive criticism/processing tutorials always welcomed
Cheers,
Dunk

That's a great image Dr. Duncan , congratulations. Even more astounding when one realises it was captured with a 4" inch scope and a 2.75 micron camera.
Cheers

Good one Dunk, who needs big scopes when you can make images like that.
