Thanks Andrew, and I hope all turns out well for you. I have never been interested in traveling the world, as I still haven't seen all of Oz yet. Went around in 2012 with the war office and have spent lots of time in our Kimberly's. Can't wait to do the grey nomad thing and spend all winter up there.

Yes, as others have related to me, after one hits 80 the cost of medical travel insurance becomes astronomical.

One is then pretty much limited to travelling to countries which have reciprocal health agreements with Australia.
