The Australian Defence Force will farewell Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin AC, Chief of the Defence Force with a four-ship F/A-18A/B Hornet flypast over Blamey Square,
Canberra on Friday, 6 July 2018 at 2.13pm.
The four F/A-18 A/B Hornet aircraft from Number 77 Squadron of Royal Australian Air Force Base Williamtown, near Newcastle, will approach Canberra from the south-
west and hold near Mt Stromlo.
The aircraft will then track over Parliament House in a box formation, along Kings Avenue to Blamey Square before heading off in a north-east direction over Mount
Ainsley before returning to RAAF Base Williamtown.
The four aircraft will fly no lower than 76 metres (250 ft) above ground level over Blamey Square and travel at a maximum speed of no faster than 833 kilometres per
hour (450 knots).
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
