Thanks Chris, that has put a shortcut onto my browser, but how do I return it to my normal screen along with all my other shortcuts?

Right click on your desktop, click New and then Shortcut
Type http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/ into the box and click Next
Give you shortcut a name and hit enter.
Your shortcut is on the desktop.

Did exactly as you told me, and after typing in your supplied text, clicked next, and it said "cannot find this file". Never got a chance to give it a name.

OK, try right clicking on the link given above, and select copy.
Then right click on your desktop, select new, shortcut, as suggested above.
Right click in the box and select Paste.

You may also need to ensure that you have a default browser?
If you are running Windows 10, click on settings in the Windows menu.
search for default, then select default apps.
Scroll down to Web browser and make sure there is a default browser, Chrome or Edge or whatever you normally use.
