Hi all,
Sorry if I'm in the wrong section, but I wasn't able to post under "mounts".
My workplace, a university in Brisbane, has an old TheSky TCS mount, that we wish to get rid of. A suspected donation from NASA (still has US Government/NASA asset tag) is of no use to us, has been sitting in the corner of a lab shed for the past decade collecting dust, and is of no use for us.
Included is the joystick, which does still make the mount rotate in both axes at various rates, so I assume is in working order. RA also rotates tracks but have not tested that it is still at sidereal rate.
We do not have any software or cables for PC interface and cannot guarantee any of the features still work. You will need to find your own power supply as well, at 48V and 1A (during testing it drew 0.6A max).
Further discussion of this mount can be found here, with what it is apparently and what's missing:

Pickup from Brisbane CBD during business hours only. Being a public entity we cannot accept money (well we can, but it's a lot of paperwork!) so instead if you have any excess gear that you may want to trade, I'm up for suggestions.
