10/4/2010 - A great cloud of cool gas over solar surface.

Poor - medium seeing but we see the sun today here in athens guys.
The observation give a great cloud of cool gas over the north solar surface.
At Northeast we have a big Q.R.Filament in arch shape.

Good work Theo - the Sun has been good to view lately.
That big q filament has been great to see - at first I thought it was dull but today (and visible in your image) you can see detail that makes it a great target. I was able to snap it today - I have only been looking at the Sun since 2007 and I have never seen anything like it - a huge blanket of material!
