The only award I’ve ever received was from Bintel back in 2019 , image of the month , NGC 253 Sculptor Galaxy shot with my old Canon 600D and 6” Newt.
I’m not really into awards , competitions etc… but my wife said why not , give it a go , I received a $50 store credit. Don’t know if Bintel are still running these awards ?

Here’s my photo from the Greenwich Observatory in London last July
63 years old , retired
Wife ( still teaching ) , 5 kids and 5 grandkids ( more on the way )

Looking good Martin Retirement is something I am contemplating soon as I turn 60 mate you did well 5 kids and grandkids! my one and only has just begun Uni long way to go before grandkids
