Jupiter Mars Saturn May 5th

SPX350, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters. Jupiter F35.6. Mars/Saturn F41.3

Had a possible final go at Jupiter but seeing was not cooperating, it settled briefly to average. The Orange smudge left of centre in NEB is moon IO.

I tried Mars at the longest FL possible with the 5xPowerMate, because 2014 was successful at the longest FL I could get then. This time I went a bit further to the limit 9x power increase at 14.5 meters - Mars looks grand and at this brightness no problem.

Seeing was above average for Mars and Saturn, I tried lower gain at 70 and 50% for Mars and Saturn and it worked fine, Jupiter seems to need much more.

Thanks for looking, John.
