Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I have posted any images but I managed to get out and capture NGC 6188 last week. It's the first time out with a QHY22 I bought in the classifieds and TS 80mm F6 Triplet APO with a TS Flat 2. It's actually the first time I have ever captured some SII data so thought I would have a crack at some hubble palette. The subs taken were 17x600s Ha, 10x600s OIII, 10x600s SII. Seeing was far from ideal but when isn't it in Melbourne?

C&C welcome.
Thanks for looking,
Lucas

Gotta be happy with that. That's turned out very moody and understated. I love those types of renditions.

Looks great Lucas

Nice round stars to the corners and processing is very good as well.

Great job Lucas and welcome back, nice depth/perspective in the dragons and the brassy-yellow-green-blue with yellow and white stars looks good

Great work. Very pleasing image that has the technical details well under control too.

Very nice Lucas, you've got it humming along nicely
Glad to see that QHY22 out and under the largely cloudy Melbourne skies

Thanks Suavi. Your initial first light from your new scope inspired the framing!

Thanks Marc. I feel like this palette really suits my data. I did have a dabble with a slightly more blue image but came back to these colours.

Thanks Colin. Finally got the QHY22 out for it's first proper imaging session and I really like it's performance.
