Thanks Dennis. Bit by bit I'm getting used to it. Tonight while doing Jupiter I found out on Fire Capture that you can stabilize the image with a bounding box so it doesn't jump around. Makes life so much easier with focusing.
Impressive scale and detail. May I ask what scope you are using, I'd assume the Tak CN212 in CC mode would be the ideal for the lunar imaging
Yes it's F/12.4 at the cassegrain focus 2630mm FL. I barlowed it with a Baader Flat field converter to ~x3. The scope is a rescue that Lewis helped me put back together. Fantastic bit of kit. Much lighter to handle than my C11.
